We offer a competitive, cost-effective cleaning, repair, and testing service for a wide range of petrol fuel injectors. For a fraction of the cost of a new unit, we clean and restore clogged, dirty of leaking injectors. Using state-of-the-art technology, backed by our 4 generations of experience, we’ll restore your components so they’re as good as new. Our testing process is as follows:
Inspect & clean
Visual inspection is completed and external clean of units. Once complete, we check the electrical condition of the solenoids.
Testing
We’ll place the injector on a test bench to complete a leakage test, check the injector inductance whilst operating the injectors and inspect atomisation characteristics throughout the speed range.
Flow analysis
Flow analysis will be performed during automatic operation to determine individual quantity delivery throughout the operational range. We’ll also perform static flowing testing to determine injector efficiency.
Re-checking and final testing
Once all testing is complete, we’ll remove any internal filters (where applicable) and perform ultrasonic cleaning and services. Once complete, the injectors will be re-checked and if they pass, new filters and seals will be fitted. Next, they’re packed ready for dispatch.
GDI or direct injectors are tested at 73.5 PSI (5 bars). Our test procedure for direct injectors is factory approved.
